Playground Extension!  As many of you will have noticed there is some excitement inthe paddock in front of the preschool. With the help of the Cuthbert Family we are extending the outdoor area of preschool to incorporate a bike track! It’s all very exciting!! The new bike track area will provide an excellent space for our children to really develop their physical skills. Along with the bike track, the new space will include the ‘secret garden’, the playhouse, the ‘village green’ and the ‘rock garden’. Children will be able to engage in a greater variety of play activities using their imaginations and this awesome environment to extend their learning. We will probably now have one of the biggest outdoor area’s of any preschool in Franklin! Just another way we reflect our rural setting! We have had a number of kind offers to help so we might call for volunteers to help with a working bee one weekend once the major construction is done.
